Artist Profile:
Mikiyas Tsegaye (b. 1995, Addis Ababa) is a contemporary Ethiopian painter celebrated for his expressive portraiture and figurative works. Trained at Enlightenment Art Academy and a BFA graduate from Alle School of Fine Arts and Design, Mikiyas blends technical mastery with a fresh, modern vision. His works have been exhibited at Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa (twice), the French and Belgian Embassies, Alliance Ethio-Française, Atmosphere-251, Laphtho Contemporary Art Gallery, and the Ethiopian Green Pavilion in Dubai (2023). He continues to live and create in Addis Ababa.
